MILLIE ALLEN

Millie was a Christmas present from my brother and did not want to be handled, mostly staying curled up. Two days after I had her I noticed her right rear foot was discolored and swollen when she took her first bath at her new home. A string had been wrapped around her foot for some time and it was all purple and black. It had to be amputated for her to survive. It was a very scary time since small, exotic animals don’t always do well with anesthesia. Millie made it through surgery and recovered extremely well thanks to Dr. Jandron! Mille became a friendly, outgoing  hedgehog that loved running on her wheel, taking her baths and interacting with people.  Millie crossed rainbow bridge in Aug or 2016.   Her fun nature is greatly missed.
